Tigers' Ian Kinsler: Homers, drives in four Tuesday versus White Sox

Kinsler went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer and four RBI in Tuesday's game against the White Sox.

Analysis:

Kinsler entered the night hitting just .208 through 96 at-bats this month, but managed to bust through with his fourth four-RBI game of the season. The veteran upped his RBI total to 70 while smacking his 24th homer, both of which are fantastic numbers for a leadoff hitter. If Kinsler is going to finish strong, he'll have to part ways with recent history. Over the past three seasons, he's slashed just .263/.296/.392 in September, all of which are his worst numbers for any month over that stretch.
