Watch: Machado becomes youngest Oriole to hit 100 HRs

Tommy Gilligan / USA TODAY Sports

The Baltimore Orioles have something special in Manny Machado.

The three-time All-Star hammered a two-run homer off Toronto Blue Jays starter J.A. Happ in the fifth inning Tuesday for his 32nd of the season and 100th of his career.

At 24 years and 55 days old, Machado became the youngest player in franchise history to reach 100 home runs. Hall of Fame first baseman Eddie Murray previously held the record at 24 years and 177 days.

Machado's homer also gave him 10 in August to join teammates Chris Davis and Mark Trumbo. It's the first time in franchise history the Orioles have had three players hit at least 10 homers in a single month, according to ESPN Stats and Info.
