Diamondbacks' Zack Godley: Moving to bullpen

Godley will be shifted back to the bullpen, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.

Analysis:

Godley pitched his way out of a starting role with a pair of blowups against the likes of Atlanta and Cincinnati (16 earned runs combined in seven innings). Shelby Miller will come up to start Wednesday, pushing Godley to bullpen, and that may be where Godley sticks long term after turning in middling results as a starter at three levels this year.
