Angels' Kaleb Cowart: Out of Tuesday's lineup

Cowart is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Reds, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Analysis:

Since being called up Aug. 20, Cowart has gone 8-for-30 (.267) with eight strikeouts over eight games. He'll have the night off as the Angels opt to start Cliff Pennington at second for their matchup against Tim Adleman and the Reds.
