Twins' Danny Santana: No surgery necessary on AC joint
Santana (shoulder) won't need surgery on his sprained AC joint, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Analysis:
The Twins decided not to take any chances and placed him on the disabled list immediately even with the September roster expansion coming up. Now that surgery has been ruled out, there's still a chance Santana could play this season, but we'll have to see how his rehab goes.
