Brewers' Michael Blazek: Begins throwing Sunday

Blazek (forearm) has resumed throwing, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

Blazek's MRI revealed no significant damage to his forearm, so he'll continue throwing and work towards a mid-September return. Blazek had been a liability on the mound for the Brewers before landing on the DL on August 16. Over 40 innings (40.1 innings), he posted a 5.58 ERA and 1.88 WHIP while giving up home runs at a rate of 1.6 HR/9.
