Rangers' Jurickson Profar: Reenters lineup for first time in a week

Profar will start at third base and bat third in the order Sunday against the Indians, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Analysis:

Profar had served in a bench role over the past six days while he's remained in an extended swoon in August, batting just .148 with a .220 on-base percentage in 59 plate appearances this month. While the 23-year-old's versatility has allowed him to see opportunities all over the diamond and in the outfield this season, the Rangers' wealth of hitting options might make it hard for Profar to see everyday playing time until his bat heats up again.
