Marlins' Jose Urena: Takes tough loss versus Padres on Saturday

Arena (2-5) allowed just one run on four hits over 5.2 innings, but he took the loss against San Diego on Saturday. He also struck out six and walked two.

Analysis:

His only blemish was a solo homer he allowed to Padres second baseman Ryan Schimpf, but that was enough for San Diego, as they won 1-0. Urena hasn't pitched particularly well this year, but that's the third time in six starts where he yielded just one run but didn't earn a victory. He is 2-5 with a 5.83 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 39 strikeouts over 54.0 innings. Urena has appeared in 22 games, six of which have come as a starter.
