Orioles' Yovani Gallardo: Decimated in Friday loss
Gallardo (4-6) gave up eight runs (seven earned) on six hits and a walk over 1.1 innings in Friday's 14-4 loss to the Yankees.
Analysis:
The veteran right-hander was beat up early by a resurgent Yankees offense, beginning with a two-run homer by Mark Teixeira in the first inning. Gallardo has now dropped three straight decisions, although Friday's outing was easily his worst of that trio of starts. He'll look to turn things around against another tough draw in the Blue Jays next Wednesday.
