Diamondbacks' Yasmany Tomas: Back in action Friday

Tomas (back) will return to the lineup Friday against the Reds, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

The back issue cost Tomas two starts but he will return for a favorable matchup against lefty Brandon Finnegan. Finnegan was excellent his last time out, tossing seven innings of one-hit ball against the Dodgers, but he has mostly struggled on the road and Tomas is batting .316/.380/.663 on the year against left-handed pitching.
