Carlos Ruiz wasn't about to leave the Philadelphia Phillies without saying goodbye.

One day after learning he was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers for fellow backstop A.J. Ellis, Ruiz, having spent his entire 11-year career in the City of Brotherly Love, lived up to that moniker when he wrote a touching farewell to his now-former teammates on the clubhouse whiteboard.
