Red Sox's Aaron Hill: Sitting out Friday

Hill is out of the lineup for Friday's matchup against Kansas City, Evan Drellich of the Boston Herald reports.

Analysis:

Hill has played in three of Boston's last four outings, but will give way to Travis Shaw at third base Friday. Shaw will hit eighth as the Red Sox face Ian Kennedy and the Royals.
