Dyson relives catch of career: 'I had no shot'
This was without a doubt, the best catch of Jarrod Dyson's life.
A former 50th-round pick, the Kansas City Royals' speedster seemingly jumped in slow motion Thursday as he robbed a home run from Miami's Christian Yelich.
"Off the bat, I thought I was burnt," Dyson told The Kansas City Star's Rustin Dodd. "I had no shot. But as I kept running, I got closer. I was like, 'Yeah, I got a chance.'"

Dyson covered 98 feet on the play and sprinted upwards of 19.8 mph. Even Royals manager Ned Yost couldn't believe the play.
"I wasn't sure if he caught it," Yost said, referencing Dyson's nonchalant expression as he made his way to the dugout.
The Royals would use the play as a spark, going on to defeat the Marlins 5-2.
