Lance Iversen / USA TODAY Sports

San Francisco Giants left-hander Matt Moore has a no-hitter through eight innings against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium on Thursday.

Moore, who has thrown one complete game in his career, has seven strikeouts and three walks on a season-high 119 pitches. The Giants lead 4-0.

Enrique Hernandez, Howie Kendrick, and Corey Seager are due up for Los Angeles in the ninth.

Since the Giants acquired him from the Tampa Bay Rays on Aug. 1, Moore has gone 0-3 with a 4.70 ERA in four starts.

The Giants have had 17 no-hitters in their history and four since 2012.

The last time the Dodgers were no-hit at home came last August courtesy of Chicago Cubs right-hander Jake Arrieta. The Giants haven't no-hit the Dodgers since 1915 when they were the Brooklyn Robins.
