Giants' Mac Williamson: Still battling shoulder soreness

Williamson (shoulder) still isn't 100 percent healthy according to manager Bruce Bochy, Alex Pavlovic of CSN Bay Area reports.

Analysis:

The shoulder has flared up on Williamson as he's tried to push through a minor league rehab assignment and thus the team was forced to turn elsewhere to replace Gregor Blanco (shoulder) on Tuesday. Gorkys Hernandez got the call from Triple-A Sacramento, and it's uncertain if Williamson will be ready to go by the time rosters expand Sept. 1.
