Cubs' Jason Heyward: Blasts sixth homer against Padres
Heyward hit his sixth home run, a two run shot, in a 1-for-4 game in Monday's win over San Diego.
Analysis:
Heyward made the most out of his first start after a weekend off, as he homered for the first time since July 29 against Seattle. He owned a brutal .196/.224/.250 batting line in 15 games since and has sat out six games in that time. The home run is a good sign for Heyward, but he'll probably need a few more solid games before he has completely earned back manager Joe Maddon's confidence.
