Rays' Blake Snell: Struggles with control in loss

Snell (4-6) lasted just 3.2 innings in a loss to the Red Sox, allowing two runs. He surrendered four hits, walked five and struck out three.

Analysis:

The rookie lefty has really struggled with his command of late, walking 13 over his last three starts and lasting just 10.1 total innings as a result. Snell's season began very well, but he may be hitting his wall as he closes in on his careerhigh in innings pitched. He'll try to find his command Saturday against Houston.
