Padres' Jemile Weeks: Begins rehab assignment

Weeks (hamstring) began a rehab assignment with the Padres' Arizona League affiliate Monday.

Analysis:

Weeks has been out since May with a right hamstring strain, but finally seems to be on the road to recovery. There is no clear timetable at this point, but a return to the majors this season isn't out of the question.
