Dodgers' Scott Kazmir: Hammered in no-decision

Kazmir was lucky to escape with a no-decision Monday afternoon, surrendering four runs in 2.2 innings against the Reds. He allowed six hits and walked three while striking out just one.

Analysis:

It has not been smooth sailing for Kazmir of late. The lefty has finished six innings in a start just once in August, striking out two or fewer in each of those three outings. Kazmir's 4.59 ERA would be by far the highest figure posted since his resurgent 2013 season with the Indians. He'll have a tough assignment when he tries to get back on track Saturday against the Cubs.
