Carlos Correa and the Houston Astros had to figure out a way to bide their time during a more than four-hour rain delay against the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards on Sunday, and they decided to use the time to pig out.
The 21-year-old Correa admitted to MLB.com's Brian McTaggart after the game he and his teammates went a little crazy filling their stomachs while waiting for the rain to end.
After the four-hour delay ended, and another first-inning delay also finished, Correa and the Astros used their full bellies to win their third consecutive game, defeating Baltimore 5-3.
The shortstop was 2-for-3 in the contest with two RBIs.
