Rays' Steven Souza: Stays hot Sunday

Souza went 2-for-4 with his 13th home run of the season, two RBI and two runs in Sunday's win over the Rangers.

Analysis:

He'll be sorry to see the Texas pitching staff leave town, as Souza went 5-for-11 with two homers, five RBI and four runs scored over the weekend series. His .770 OPS so far in August is actually his best performance since an .850 OPS in April, but his strikeout-prone nature will continue to leave him vulnerable to prolonged slumps. Ride Souza while he's hot, but don't hesitate to cut him loose once he shows signs of cooling back down.
