Rays' Kevin Kiermaier: Sees action off the bench Sunday

Kiermaier (hip) went 1-for-1 after entering Sunday's game prior to the eighth inning as a defensive replacement.

Analysis:

Kiermaier was not ready to play a full nine innings Sunday, but he was at least feeling good enough to see some action. With him able to take the field Sunday after sitting out a game, he should have a chance to return to the lineup in the Rays' next game Monday against the Red Sox.
