Rangers' Jonathan Lucroy: Not in Sunday's lineup

Lucroy is out of the lineup Sunday against the Rays, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Analysis:

Lucroy will get a regular day of rest after starting three straight games and seven of the last eight overall. The backstop has an impressive 1.056 OPS since landing in Texas, but the Rangers won't have that pop in their lineup Sunday against lefty Drew Smyly, as Robinson Chirinos will take over behind the plate.
