Royals' Alex Gordon: Smashes grand slam as heating trend continues

Gordon homered for the third straight day Thursday, this time socking a fourth-inning grand slam in an 8-2 win over Minnesota.

He's also hit safely in nine straight and scored a run in seven straight, lifting his average 20 points in the process. Gordon's season stats are still ugly but he seems to have finally returned to form for the back end of an injury-marred campaign and thus is worth deploying in fantasy lineups the rest of the way.
