Tigers' Justin Upton: Out through Friday

Upton will be held out of the Tigers' lineup Thursday and Friday in an effort to "hit the reset button," according to manager Brad Ausmus, MLive's Evan Woodbery reports.

He was also held out Wednesday as well as part of a planned three-day absence that the Tigers hope will jumpstart their left fielder with the big name and bigger contract. Upton is 1-for-31 in his last eight games and has been one of the bigger fantasy busts this season. Alex Presley's contract was purchased from Triple-A and he is starting in left field Thursday.
