Braun (knee) is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cubs.

Analysis:

Braun escaped a collision with the wall in Tuesday's game with only minor injuries to his knee and ankle, but he will get at least one day to rest and recover from his ailments. Jake Elmore will get the start in left field Wednesday in Braun's place.
