Giants' Johnny Cueto: No-decision Sunday despite quality start

Cueto allowed three runs with four strikeouts and just one walk across 6.2 innings Sunday versus the Orioles. He did not factor into the decision.

Analysis:

Cueto pitched exceptionally well into the sixth inning, but he began to run out of gas and was pulled with two outs after allowing a pair of runs to score. Cueto was still in a great position to earn his 14th win of the season, but a disastrous performance by the bullpen cost Cueto and the Giants a victory. The veteran still owns a sharp 2.98 ERA on the season and will have the opportunity to get back in the win column Friday versus the Mets.
