Padres' Wil Myers: Crushes game-tying homer in ninth

Myers went 1-for-3 with a home run in a 3-2 loss to the Mets on Saturday.

Analysis:

With two outs in the ninth, Myers crushed his 23rd home run of the season, a solo shot off closer Jeurys Familia to tie the game. Though the Mets would eventually go on to win the game in the 11th inning, Myers' blast was the second of two astonishing home runs from the Padres. The first baseman now has a slash line of .276/.354/.500 on the season and remains one of the few bright spots in the San Diego lineup.
