Blue Jays' Jose Bautista: DL candidate with knee injury

Bautista hurt his left knee Tuesday night and may be headed to the 15-day DL, Barry Davis of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Analysis:

Apparently, Bautista caught his spike on the infamous turf at Rogers Centre and is hurt again just a little over two weeks after his return from a toe injury. He was sent for an MRI on the knee and the Blue Jays are awaiting the results, but it seems they are preparing for the worst as a DL stint is already being discussed. Michael Saunders is manning right field Wednesday with Darwin Barney in left against Rays lefty Blake Snell.
