Orioles' Hyun Soo Kim: Socks fourth homer, pushing average to .335
Kim went 2-for-4 with his fourth home run of the year in Thursday's loss to the Rangers.
Analysis:
Incredibly -- especially for a guy who couldn't buy a hit throughout spring training -- Kim's sitting pretty on a .335 batting average. Unfortunately, that singles-heavy output hasn't been accompanied by much other fantasy production, as he has just one steal, 12 RBI and 21 runs to go with the unimpressive homer total. But Kim's got power bottled up in there, and he's been showing strong contact ability and patience -- the ingredients of a good hitter. Unfortunately, the Korean outfielder's entirely shown those against righties, as he's barely faced any southpaws (and is 0-for-11 against them). To have a full-on breakout, he needs to find a way to hit lefties.
