Astros' Dallas Keuchel: Can't keep ball in park Sunday

Keuchel (6-11) gave up seven runs on seven hits (including two home runs) and three walks over five innings while striking out four in Sunday's loss to the Tigers.

Analysis:

James McCann's first-inning grand slam set the tone for what ended up being an 11-0 rout by Detroit. Keuchel didn't have much trouble finding the plate Sunday, throwing 51 of 83 pitches for strikes and starting 18 of 24 batters off with first-pitch strikes, but Tigers hitters punished the mistakes he made in the zone. He'll need to be sharper in his next start, as he'll face off in a home tilt against another dangerous offense in the Rangers on Friday.
