Looks like Aroldis Chapman will fit in just fine at Wrigley Field.

Called upon in the eighth inning to replace Hector Rondon with his Chicago Cubs up 2-1 on crosstown rival White Sox, Chapman quickly fanned Melky Cabrera to escape the inning unscathed Thursday. He then returned for the ninth and easily retired Jose Abreu, Todd Frazier, and Avisail Garcia to earn his first save with his new club since being traded by the New York Yankees on July 25.

"He's your guy, and if you let that save moment get away - if (Rondon) gives up that run and you go into the next inning tied, it's a different moment for (Chapman)," Maddon said postgame, according to Carrie Muskat of MLB.com. "You want to give him the opportunity to convert the save."

True to the scouting report, Chapman threw blistering pitch after blistering pitch, maxing out at 102.8 mph in the save. In total, Chapman lit up the radar gun with triple digits 12 times on Thursday, recording more 100-mph pitches in one night than the Cubs have since the start of the 2012 season.
