Rangers' Shin-Soo Choo: Hopes to return when first eligible Thursday
Choo (back) hopes to come off the DL when eligible next Thursday, TR Sullivan of MLB.com reports.
Analysis:
Choo will take live swings off Derek Holland on Tuesday, clearing the way for a very brief rehab assignment. Choo is expected to resume his role as Texas' leadoff hitter once healthy, and could be a nice source of production down the stretch given Texas' home-heavy finish.
