Reds' Homer Bailey: Reinstated from 60-day disabled list
Bailey (elbow) was reinstated from the 60-day disabled list Thursday.
Analysis:
After a lengthy recovery from Tommy John surgery, Bailey is ready to rejoin the Reds' rotation and is now officially back on the active roster. He stretched out to 98 pitches in his last rehab outing, which was enough to convince the Reds that his elbow could hold up to a starter's workload. Bailey is expected to get the start Sunday against the Padres.
