Yankees' Brian McCann: Socks first post-break homer
McCann provided all the offense for the Yankees in Wednesday's loss to Houston with a solo homer -- his lone hit to go with two strikeouts in four at-bats.
Analysis:
The veteran backstop hadn't homered since before the All-Star break -- July 8 -- and after collecting six hits in his final two games before the break, he still only has five hits in 10 games since. For a while there in April, it looked like we might get a bit more batting average out of McCann, but it now looks like he's destined to hit around .230 for the fourth time in five years.
