Tigers' Michael Fulmer: Gives up lead in the eighth versus Red Sox

Fulmer allowed three runs on seven hits, struck out three and walked none in a no-decision against the Red Sox on Wednesday.

Analysis:

It's great to see the 23-year-old continue to display great control, but two homers hurt him Wednesday afternoon, as he coughed up the lead in the eighth. And although he's had great command, Fulmer has just 14 strikeouts over his last 26.2 innings. Even still, it's hard to complain about the 23-year-old. He is 9-2 with a 2.50 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 84 strikeouts in 97.1 innings. His next start will be Tuesday against the White Sox.
