Marlins' Tom Koehler: Throws six shutout innings in win over Phillies

Koehler (8-8) tossed six shutout innings, allowed just three hits with a walk and struck out five in a win Tuesday over Philadelphia.

Analysis:

Koehler was dominant, as he needed just 73 pitches to complete six innings and induced a whopping 16 swinging strikes. His last start also came against the Phillies and he has enjoyed the easy schedule, reeling off 14 innings while allowing just five hits and one earned run with a 10:2 K:BB. It's back to reality for Koehler and his 4.18 ERA in his next start, which comes Sunday against the Cardinals.
