Sabathia gave up solo homers in the first and seventh innings, but left the contest with a 6-2 lead after throwing 103 pitches. This was the first time in seven outings that he's allowed fewer than four runs and his ERA is now at 3.95. He'll make his next start Monday at the Mets.
