Jedd Gyorko wants to play two every day.

The St. Louis Cardinals infielder put together a doubleheader to remember for the second time in a week on Tuesday against the New York Mets. In the first game, Gyorko hit a rocket to left field off Noah Syndergaard that helped key a 3-2 Cardinals win.

Just for good measure, the 27-year-old came out for the nightcap and took Bartolo Colon deep in the second inning, upping his season total to 14 home runs, and giving him seven homers in his last nine games.

It's the second time in six days that Gyorko's homered in both ends of a doubleheader, having also pulled it off last Wednesday against San Diego. That makes Gyorko the first Cardinal to accomplish the feat since Stan Musial did it against Brooklyn on Aug. 23, 1949.
