Mets' Michael Conforto: Not in lineup for Game 2 of doubleheader

Conforto is out of the lineup for Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Cardinals, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

Conforto went 0-for-3 in Game 1 but is still batting .357 (5-for-14) since his return from Triple-A Las Vegas. He has been starting in center field and hitting seventh against right-handed pitching in recent days (with Yoenis Cespedes moving to left field), but Conforto figures to sit against all lefties moving forward.
