Blue Jays' Joe Biagini: Worthy of more high-leverage chances

Biagini hasn't allowed a run in three appearances since the All-Star break.

Analysis:

The rookie has given up just two hits while striking out three since the break to lower his ERA to 2.63, his best mark since June 9. Biagini had a disastrous June (seven earned runs on 16 hits over 7.1 innings), but has otherwise been phenomenal. Outside of that month, the righty has allowed just six runs in 30.1 innings (1.78 ERA) with 29 strikeouts. Unfortunately, Biagini's fantasy value is severely limited because he isn't used in situations where he can earn holds, as evidenced by the mere two he has on the season.
