Yankees' Andrew Miller: Named closer in wake of Aroldis Chapman trade

Miller, as expected, will assume the closer's role following the Yankees' trade of Aroldis Chapman, Newsday reports.

Analysis:

Miller saved 36 games last year in his first season as a full-time closer and logged seven saves at the beginning of 2016 before being bumped back to a setup role by Chapman's return. He figures to be one of the league's top ninth-inning options, as the lefty has a terrific 1.45 ERA and 15.4 K/9 over 42 appearances.
