Blue Jays' Jose Bautista: Returns to action Monday

Bautista (toe) is back in the lineup Monday against the Padres.

Analysis:

The Jays officially activated Bautista from the disabled list and designated Junior Lake for assignment in order to free up a spot on the roster. As expected, Bautista will serve as the leadoff man Monday, and Toronto appears poised to stick with that alignment for the foreseeable future. Josh Donaldson will hit second behind Bautista, with Edwin Encarnacion batting third.
