Pirates' Jameson Taillon: Strikes out seven in no decision
Taillon (head) allowed four runs on eight hits while striking out seven over six innings, but he received no decision Sunday against the Phillies.
Analysis:
Taillon left the contest with a 4-2 deficit, but the offense came up with a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take him off the hook for a potential loss. This was the first time in three starts that he's allowed more than one earned run, and his ERA is now at 3.83. He'll make his next start Sunday at the Brewers.
