Mariners' Chris Iannetta: Batting second in order Sunday

Iannetta will serve as the Mariners' designated hitter and bat second in the order Sunday against the Blue Jays.

Analysis:

Nelson Cruz is usually the Mariners' preferred DH option, but he'll move over to the outfield with Seth Smith getting the day off against Blue Jays lefty J.A. Happ, enabling Iannetta to stay in the lineup while not having to catch. Iannetta, who typically hits in the bottom third of the Mariners' lineup, will climb the ranks due to the matchup with Happ, but it's unlikely he remains in that spot beyond Sunday. In fact, Iannetta's fantasy value seems more likely to fall going forward, given that manager Scott Servais has recently committed to starting recent call-up Mike Zunino at catcher on at least a semi-regular basis.
