Red Sox's David Ortiz: Not in Sunday's starting lineup

Ortiz isn't in the lineup Sunday against the Twins, Brian MacPherson of the Providence Journal reports.

Analysis:

It's a scheduled day off for Ortiz, who will cede DH duties to Hanley Ramirez for the afternoon, while Travis Shaw takes over at first base. Ortiz should be back in action Monday, when the Red Sox open up a series with the Tigers.
