Cubs' John Lackey: Loses fifth straight decision versus White Sox
Lackey (7-7) allowed three runs on five hits, struck out five, and walked two over six frames in a loss to the Brewers on Saturday.
Analysis:
The veteran right-hander has pitched better in his last two starts, but he still has nothing to show for it, as Lackey hasn't won a decision since June 8. In the eight starts since then, he's 0-5 with a 5.73 ERA. Lackey has also given up 10 homers in his last 42.2 frames. He will try to end the losing skid Thursday against the White Sox.
