Rangers' Cole Hamels: Earns 11th win of 2016 on Saturday

Hamels (11-2) allowed one unearned run on five hits and three walks while striking out four over 5.1 innings to earn the win Saturday against the Royals.

Analysis:

Despite struggling with control issues, Hamels left the contest with a two-run lead before the Rangers' offense was able to put away the game in the latter innings. He's now held opponents to one or fewer earned runs in six of his last eight starts, and he boasts a 2.87 ERA in 2016. He'll make his next start Thursday against the Royals.
