Rangers' Ryan Rua: Not in Saturday's lineup

Rua is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.

Analysis:

Rua seemed poised to benefit the most from Shin-Soo Choo's placement on the DL, but Rua's been on a slide for well over a month, managing just 11 hits (only one going for extra bases) since June 14. His season line still looks OK, but Delino DeShields could eat further into Rua's playing time in left field if he can't pick it up offensively.
