Giants' Johnny Cueto: Start moved up to Saturday

Cueto will get the start Saturday against the Yankees, FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports.

Analysis:

Jeff Samardzija was originally scheduled to start Saturday, but the Giants will take advantage of Thursday's off day and reset the rotation to flow in the order they would pitch in a postseason series. Cueto will face Ivan Nova (4.92 ERA) and the Yankees and should be deployed in all formats. Samardzija will take the ball Sunday.
